PERSPECTIVEMAY 2026

Why We Started Still Velocity

Still Velocity began with a simple observation: modern biotechnology can create extraordinary medicines, vaccines, and therapies — yet many of them remain physically fragile, dependent on an expensive and failure-prone cold chain. Tens of billions of dollars are spent each year keeping biologics cold, and product is still lost when temperature control fails. We started Still Velocity to attack that constraint at its root: designing synthetic protein materials that protect biological cargo at ambient temperature. Our approach is deliberately disciplined — computational design paired with rigorous experimental validation, built for translation rather than novelty for its own sake. The goal is to make advanced biologics easier to manufacture, transport, store, and use, without compromising safety, quality, or public health. We believe more resilient biology means broader access to the medicines people need.

PRESS RELEASEMAY 2026

Still Velocity Accepted into the NVIDIA Inception Program

Still Velocity has been accepted into NVIDIA Inception, gaining access to DGX Cloud GPU compute, the BioNeMo AI platform, and technical advisory resources. The program directly accelerates the company's computational protein design pipeline through GPU-accelerated molecular dynamics and AI-driven sequence generation. Inception membership does not constitute endorsement, investment, or partnership beyond program-defined resources.

MILESTONEMAY 2026

Additional U.S. Provisional Patent Applications Filed

Still Velocity has now filed more than five U.S. provisional patent applications, broadening intellectual property coverage across its computational design methodology, discovery engine, and novel synthetic protein compositions.

PIPELINEMAY 2026

Computational Pipeline Completes Full-Library Scoring

The Still Velocity computational pipeline has completed full-library scoring of over 5,000 designed sequences. A top-candidate panel has been selected for experimental validation, spanning multiple design tiers and architectural templates.

MILESTONEAPRIL 2026

Gene Synthesis Ordered for Initial Candidate Panel

Gene synthesis of the lead computationally designed protein panel has been ordered. Constructs are routed for recombinant expression and biophysical characterization through an academic research partner, with experimental data expected through 2H 2026.

MILESTONEMARCH 2026

First Four U.S. Provisional Patent Applications Filed

Still Velocity filed its first four U.S. provisional patent applications, establishing priority dates across the computational design methodology, the discovery engine, and novel synthetic protein compositions.

PIPELINEFEBRUARY 2026

Early Research Surfaces Novel Design Insights

Internal research surfaced several novel insights into how protein composition and architecture drive protective, glass-forming behavior. These findings now inform the company's design rules and shaped its early intellectual-property strategy.
